Patricia Kopatchinskaja | A Day in the Life of the Moldovan-Austrian Violinist

Patricia Kopatchinskaja is a musical natural phenomenon. “If I have the choice between perfection and risk, I choose risk.- it’s more interesting and more exciting”. We spend 24 hour with a violinist who says “just a beautiful sound is unbearable”. Rehearsals with the Staatskapelle, salon music at the Brandenburg Gate, a meeting with choreographer Sascha Waltz and her husband, phone calls with her sick daughter and next a performance at the Berlin philharmonic.
