Senegal launches ‘price patrols’ to tackle inflation • FRANCE 24 English

This past weekend, the Senegalese government introduced subsidies to bring down the price of food, construction material, school fees and rent – among other things. The move comes after high inflation triggered in part by the war in Ukraine. Sam Bradpiece has more from Dakar.
