Southern African bloc agrees to extend troops’ mandate to fight insurgency in Mozambique

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) agreed to extend their troop deployment in
Mozambique for another month to help it fight an Islamic State-linked insurgency. The border has been reopened between Algeria and Tunisia. The border had been shut since the beginning of the pandemic, more than two years ago. And the crew at Bilan Media is on a mission to break the silence around gender-based violence in Somalia.
