WATCH: Ukraine, China and how Biden will address foreign policy in the 2023 State of the Union
Days before Biden’s last State of the Union address, Russia invaded Ukraine–a war that is still ongoing a year later. The war has been a substantive foreign policy concern for the U.S. and its allies. Since then, the Biden administration has spent tens of billions of dollars sending weapons and financial assistance to Ukraine. To discuss the administration’s approach to foreign policy in the last year, the PBS NewsHour’s Nicole Ellis spoke with NewsHour correspondent Nick Schifrin.
