Why it’s suddenly gone dark in Berlin

Berlin turns out the lights – at least for some major landmarks. To save energy, the evening illumination for more than 200 buildings is gradually being switched off. The Berlin Cathedral and Lustgarten park in front of it are no longer being lit up. It’s a symbolic gesture in response to mounting electricity and gas prices. What do you think of it?⁠
