Russia touts its trade ties to China | DW Business

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been hosting an Eastern Economic Forum, where he hailed his country’s trade relations with China as “amazing.” He said Russia and China were putting up a united front against a world order led by western democracies. But it’s far from an equal partnership, with China’s economy many times larger, and Russia supplying mostly cut-price energy and raw materials.
