Prostitution is legal in India. There are an estimated 3 million sex workers in India between the age group fifteen to thirty-five, a practice with roots in the age old caste system. India recognises sex work as a profession, but sex workers still face discrimination in society. DW visits a community of sex workers in Rajasthan who have managed to pull themselves and their families out of poverty, but want the next generation to have more choice.
