Pakistan’s economic crisis is hitting its poorest hardest. Inflation is at a fifty-year high and food has become unaffordable for millions. The impact is proving deadly.

In Pakistan’s southern city Karachi at least 12 people have been killed in a crowd crush at a food and money distribution centre. Hundereds of people mostly women and children had gathered there to collect the donation. Several people are reported injured.
